EVENTS

Our mission is achieved by sending high-level coaches into select communites to teach the joy of short distance running skills, and beginning in 2011, a healthy life skills curriculum. Our program year consists of two eight-week seasons (Spring, Fall). Each season consists of sixteen sessions and includes oppurtunites to run in groups of teams.
There is strong study that suggests the youth engaged in organized sport are not likely to participate in criminal activities, on this basis SRC (Somali Runners Community) Foundation creates school-based running teams through Running Partners, a youth development program serving schools with few or no recreation programs.
So, do you want to take part the youth crime prevention programs in the US and Canada ?
Or do you simply want to hear the distressing of Somali youth crime stories, so you may be aware of what is happing with our youth today, then you will need to get involved SRC Programs.
